Enrolments
Choosing the right school is an extremely important decision for young people and their parents and should only be done after gaining a good understanding of what the school has to offer. Lakeside Seconary College encourages prospective students and their parents/guardians to visit the College and find out first hand about what the school has to offer.
Lakeside Secondary College draws students from a wide area around the northern suburbs of Melbourne and beyond and we welcome all secondary age students who are interested in enrolling.
The College holds Information Nights for Year 6-7 Transition in April each Year and for VCE in August each year. Parents interested in attending these events should contact the College. See the Events section of our website for details.
If your son/daughter attends a government primary school, applications for enrolment into Year 7 must be made through your primary school. If your son/daughter attends a non-government primary school, please apply to the College directly. Please refer to the Year 6-7 Transition section of our website for details.
Applications for enrolment should be made through the Assistant Principal, Mr Anthony Stockwell. The enrolment process generally occurs in two stages. The first stage is an interview attended by the student and a parent/guardian. Students are asked to bring their most recent reports and a portfolio of school work. In the second stage the College will contact the parent/guardian to discuss placement into the college and transition. This may involve a second interview to discuss further details.
To make an appointment to visit the College, or for enrolment contact the College on 9460 6655.
